Janelia Farm Closing Symposium

Summary

The Janelia Undergrad program ended with a all-day Symposium during which each undergrad had around 15 minutes to present the results of their project. It was a fun way to end the summer and see what the others had been up to.

At the end of the summer at Janelia Farm, the undergrads had to give a 15 minute presentation of their work that summer (along with presenting at a poster session afterwards). Below is my presentation; as usual, I created a custom PowerPoint theme using PowerPoint and Adobe.

on the subject of something: reviving an old website

On the Subject of Something was my original blog during high-school and early college. My Opera (the site it was hosted on) closed down and[...] I was unaware of this fact during the grace period during which they allowed users to export the content from their website. However, I am extremely grateful to the Internet Archive: Wayback Machine, which allowed me to recover many of the webpages. I've included links to all the relevant posts that I could recover. Enjoy!

In this post I briefly highlight where he errs and give reasons why country divides will only grow sharper in the coming decades, in part due to competition for dwindling water, oil and other resources along with increasingly fraught intranational civil relations.
