I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar focused on molecular properties and neural coding principals of pain-related neural circuits in normal and diseased states in Prof. Allan Basbaum's lab at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). I obtained my BSc from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (in Biology & in Brain and Cognitive Sciences) and PhD from Stanford (Biology, under the mentorship of Prof. Mark Schnitzer).

In my free time I write short stories, code, take advantage of Bay Area's gorgeous weather, and more!

This site was originally created as a testing ground for me to hone my web development skills. Thus, I designed and coded the site from scratch. This article describes a little about how the site's design has evolved since it's inception: the evolving style (29 March 2012).
